• Using Squeeze

To begin encoding high quality videos, follow these 3 easy steps:

    1. Import a source file.
From the Input Options window, select "Import File." Then, browse your hard drive and select the source file you'd like to encode. See capture from a DV camera or use the Watch Folder option.

    2. From the Presets window, choose a preset
that best matches your desired output format, then click the Apply button. Squeeze includes hundreds of professional encoding presets that take the mystery out of video encoding. A preset can be thought of as an encoding "recipe" that includes all the ingredients for the highest quality video. Some popular presets include the MP4 “360p (16x9)” for the internet and MPEG-2 “DVD Disc Burn (NTSC, ES) 16x9.” For more information see Format Presets Overview

    3. Press the “Squeeze It!” button
and Squeeze will begin encoding your output files.

You will see an estimation of the time required to encode your file in the Job window. When the file is finished encoding you can click the thumbnail image of the video to view your output file.

    It’s that easy!
