• Prepare Windows Server


    1. Run Windows Update to ensure that all necessary hot fixes and updates are applied and all recommended and necessary optional components are installed and up-to-date:
    • Include any critical updates.
    • Include any other optional or recommended updates required by your business practices.
    2. Install Windows Media Player 11 by opening Server Manager and click on Features on left column. Then on the right click on "Add Features" and check the box next to "Desktop Experience" and click Install.
    Note:     You will need to restart your server after installing this feature.


    3. After restarting, install QuickTime by downloading it here: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/ Un-check the box next to "Keep me up to date..." and click "Download Now" button (no need to put in an email address).
